To process a residential account, we must receive both the Residential Natural Gas Purchase Agreement and the
Customer Authorization for Core Gas Aggregation Forms. Your account will not be switched unless we have both forms.

Instructions for filling out Residential Natural Gas Purchase Agreement:
Please put the name associated with the account on the line after “Buyer” at the top of the form. Then fill out the bottom section completely.
This is essentially your contract with Tiger. It outlines the price offered, terms of the agreement, etc
.

Instructions for filling out Customer Authorization for Core Gas Aggregation:
We have already checked the appropriate billing option. You will need to sign the form where it says “Signed by” and provide your
Gas Service Address, City and PG&E Account Number at the bottom of the first page. If you would like to switch multiple accounts use
the remaining lines or fill out the second page of the form. This is a PG&E form that we cannot change. It is the form PG&E requires
us to have on file before we can submit your account for enrollment in Tiger’s program.

How it Works

Natural gas has been deregulated in California since 1993.  Since then, most large commercial and industrial accounts have switched to purchasing their gas from a supplier other than the utility, simply because of the cost savings.

Now the market is open for residential accounts, so you can take advantage of the cost savings as well.

When you switch from PG&E and purchase your natural gas supply from a supplier, it’s much the same as when the telecommunication industry deregulated.  Everything, utility services, lines, and meter, remains the same. Now, your PG&E bill will show your natural gas supply charges from your supplier. That’s it.

"Pacific Gas and ElectricCore Gas Aggregation Service is an optional service that allows core customers to purchase gas directly from competitive suppliers, rather than from PG&E. Core customers are defined as all residential and small commercial customers. Under this gas rate option, customers purchase their gas commodity from a competitive supplier, known as a Core Transport Agent (CTA) and continue to use PG&E for gas transportation. PG&E still owns and maintains the lines that deliver the gas to your home or business under this service."

Helping you pay less for your gas is what we do.

Every PG&E residential account should take advantage of this, so tell a friend !
